PlayConnect+

PlayConnect+ playgroup provides inclusive play opportunities to all children from 0-8 years with disability and/or developmental concerns to participate, engage, and enjoy themselves in a safe and engaging environment.

Through play and interaction, children develop crucial skills for their social, emotional, and overall well-being. These sessions also provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers to come together, learn valuable strategies and techniques to support their child, and access peer support for themselves.

This program is funded by Playgroup NSW.

Wednesday’s in the school term, 10.30am–12.00pm

Narromine and Wellington Start Strong

Currently, OECI partners with communities through playgroups in both Narromine and Wellington through funding received from the Department of Education - Start Strong program to enhance services for young children prior to going to School. OECI work with the Playgroup coordinator/s to enhance access for Parents/Carers and Children.

My Time

Its’ support for you! My Time is an opportunity for all parents/carers of children with developmental delays and/or disabilities to come together to socialise, discuss, get information and to support and be supported by other parents/carers. Your child does not need a diagnosis to come along. If your child is at school you can come along as well.

When?

During 2025
Fridays 10.30pm–12.00pm
Term 3 July 25–Sept 26

Cost

Free for participants, fully funded through Playgroup NSW.

Is there childcare?

You can bring your pre-school age children and there will be an opportunity for them to engage with a My Time play leader while you unwind and relax.

What will happen while I am at My Time…

It is up to the group what they want to happen in the group time. Coffee and a chat, facilitated talk from a guest speaker, well being activities or facilitator providing local resources and support information. For more information call 6882 0599.
